WELL Executive: Up close with Rick Fedrizzi

An IWBI Webcast Series, sponsored by Daikin

Rick Fedrizzi is a force. He began his career at Carrier Corporation, where he led the company’s environmental marketing efforts before becoming the founding chairman of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and led the creation of LEED, the world’s most widely used green building rating system. In 2016 he took the helm at IWBI as its first CEO, and has been instrumental in WELL’s significant market adoption. In 2019 he handed over the CEO reins and became WELL’s executive chairman and a member of IWBI’s esteemed Governance Council.
In the next installment of IWBI’s WELL Executive webcast series, IWBI President and CEO Rachel Hodgdon—Rick’s successor in the CEO role—will sit down with the global environmental business leader to discuss his past, his insights on the future of the industry, and his profound legacy.

The WELL Executive webcast series showcases leaders from the IWBI Governance Council, exploring how they take care of their people, their stakeholders and customers and, most importantly, how they take care of themselves. This series is proudly sponsored by Daikin, leading innovation in heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology for over 100 years, whose generous support makes this interview possible.
