Designing for Culture: Well-being Across EMEA

IWBI commemorates World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, a UNESCO celebration.

To commemorate World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, a UNESCO celebration, the International WELL Building Institute will host a webcast highlighting the different cultures and heritages across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, and how cultural perspectives are translated through the WELL concepts of Mind, Community and Nourishment. Join us on Wednesday, 21 May 2025 at 3 p.m. CET.

We’ll explore:

  • How do different cultures across EMEA define and celebrate the role of community in shaping well-being and development?
  • How does a community where everyone thrives impact culture and health?
  • How does a strong sense of place and celebration of culture support authenticity and belonging? And how are WELL Certified spaces applying the Historical Acknowledgment feature?
  • How is neuroinclusion perceived across various cultures within the EMEA region, and is this an evolving area of focus for organisations that put people first?
  • What role does nutrition play as part of a cultural celebrations across EMEA, and how has this been integrated throughout WELL Certified spaces?

Join us as we bring these topics to life through pioneering project examples from across the region, inviting local leaders to speak to their celebration of culture through the Mind, Community and Nourishment concepts.
