More than 20,000 professionals from across the entire supply chain including architects, planners, urban designers, landscape architects, housebuilders, developers, consultants, contractors and manufacturers will come together to explore real sustainable building materials and practices and methods of delivering construction projects that are smart and sustainable.

And join IWBI’s Ann Marie Aguilar at the Fortifying Buildings for Sustainability + Health session:

Fortifying buildings for health has become a major priority as the building sector is confronted by a range of vulnerabilities from indoor air quality to extreme heat. To future proof our buildings and organizations, it is critical for the industry to take a holistic approach to address both climate change and public health. Topics including energy efficiency, circular buildings aligned to net zero targets, climate resilience and grid electrification, as well as the social sustainability elements that support improved health, well-being and quality of life, must be considered collectively alongside new regulatory frameworks such as the EU Taxonomy that helps companies and investors address these ESG imperatives.

What’s new for 2024: more collaboration, more innovation

• Share your vision, show your stripes, and embrace the change will be the conference themes this year, highlighting the importance of climate change and the need to take action to work together to achieve a better built environment.
• New Exhibitors will include Danosa, Saint-Gobain Ecophon, FRAMECAD®, O’Reilly Precast and also returning this year are Aico, Viessmann, Bosch, Aco technologies amongst many others.
• The National Retrofit Conference curated by the Retrofit Academy. It will consist of a three-day programme to examine in detail how we are to deliver retrofit across the UK at the scale needed, from policy to practical delivery.

Join us in taking a stand and be a part of the solution for shaping the future of the built environment. Futurebuild | The future of the built environment.
