In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) initiated a Task Force on COVID-19 and Other Respiratory Infections, bringing together nearly 600 leading medical and public health practitioners, business and real estate professionals, building scientists, sustainability experts and members of academia.

The Task Force on COVID-19 heeded a global appeal to establish actionable insights and proven strategies for managing buildings and organizations. Prevention and Preparedness, Resilience and Recovery: An IWBI Special Report is the result of their efforts.
