Interiors + Base Buildings: Applying WELL Certification in a WELL Certified Base Building | Tools | WELL International WELL Building Institute

This tool is designed to help streamline the certification process for projects located in a WELL Core Certified building. This tool outlines the features achieved by a WELL Core project (“base building”) that can be used by an interiors project located in the same building.

There are four versions of this tool:
Tool 1: Interiors project pursuing the WELL v2 pilot located in a base building certified under the WELL v2 pilot.
Tool 2: Interiors project pursuing WELL v2 in a base building certified under WELL v2.
Tool 3: Interiors project pursuing WELL v2 located in a base building certified under WELL v1.
Tool 4: Interiors project pursuing WELL v2 located in a base building certified under the WELL v2 pilot.
Tool 5: Interiors projects pursuing the WELL Health-Safety Rating located in a WELL Health-Safety Rated base building.
