Wang Qingqin, Ph.D.

Vice President, China Academy of Building Science (CABR)

Dr. Wang has won the title of national level talent project of one million talents in the new century, presided over and undertaken the national science and technology support plan of the 9th Five-Year Plan, the 10th Five-Year plan, the 11th Five-Year plan, the 12th Five-Year Plan and the 13th Five-Year plan, and key scientific research projects of the Ministry of construction. He presided over and participated in the formulation of more than 20 standards, such as the evaluation standard for energy-saving buildings and the evaluation standard for healthy buildings. Many of the standard projects he presided over were of great significance and filled in the gaps in the industry of China.

Over 30 years of pioneering and innovative research in the field of sustainable building sector in China, Dr. Wang Qinqing made profound impact on the green building and healthy building industry scientific research, education and project practice. As one of the leadership members in China Sustainable Building sector, Dr. Wang Qinqin presided over and participated in the formulation of more than 20 standards, including the evaluation standard for energy-saving buildings and the evaluation standard for healthy buildings. Many of the standard projects he presided over were of great significance and filled in the gaps in the sustainable building industry in China.
