Kate Rube

Senior Vice President, Commercial

Kate manages the WELL Coaching and Education teams at IWBI, as well as the application of WELL at scale for organizations. Kate’s work includes management of the support model for WELL’s largest clients across the globe, as well as IWBI’s development of technical resources and educational materials on health, well-being, and ESG.

Prior to joining IWBI, Kate was Senior Director, Delos Solutions at Delos. In this role she consulted with organizations in the U.S. and globally to drive the adoption of health-based strategies and practices. She also served as a Vice President at Project for Public Spaces, where she helped communities improve walkability, activate public spaces, and create safer, more vibrant streets, and as the Active Design National Training Manager for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where her work helped lead to the creation of new active living programs in several cities. Earlier in her career, Kate was the Policy Director of Smart Growth America, and the Assistant Field Director at the U.S. Public Interest Research Group, where she led sustainability-focused campaigns.

Kate received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Urban and Environmental Planning, with a minor in Environmental Science. She has a Master’s in Community Planning from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from the City College of New York, as well as certificates in Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University and in ESG Performance for Professionals and Investors from The Sustainability Academy.
