Ina Rothmann, PhD

Managing Director

Ina Rothmann is the Managing Director of Afriforte (Pty) Ltd, the commercial arm of the WorkWell Research Unit, Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, North-West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa. Ina completed a PhD in Pharmacy during 1997 and is currently an Extraordinary Associate Professor at the WorkWell Research Unit.

Ina has a special interest in health economics but has also been involved in work-related wellbeing, workplace optimization, and occupational safety research since 1998 at the WorkWell Research Unit. She is involved in several national and international research projects especially pertaining to the generation of metrics regarding employee and workplace functioning. Ina has published several peer-reviewed scientific articles, presented her research internationally at scientific conferences, and contributed chapters to two textbooks (Psychology of Retention: Theory, Research and Practice (pp. 119-136). Cham: Springer (2018) and Leadership: Perspective from the Front Line, editors Theo Veldsman and Andrew J Johnson, ISBN 978-1-86922-609-1 (2016)). She is a member of the Behavioural Interest Group (BIG) for Mining Safety at the Minerals Council of South Africa since 2018.
