So Young Hyun

So Young Hyun joined Sodexo and its corp-up Wx in September 2019 as Workplace Experience Lead and Director UK&I. She is responsible for driving the strategic development and operational delivery of Sodexo’s workplace services. She advises the clients on how to evolve their workplace strategy and employee experience based on technology, data analytics, and user experience to produce a bespoke workplace strategy.

She brings to Sodexo a technical background and managerial experience in CRE and FM having worked for many years with Mitie, one of the UK’s leading FM companies. Previously she worked with a global engineering firm Arup in their London head office and one of the top architectural practices in Seoul maintaining and developing her specialisms in sustainable building design and building performance optimization.
She is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance human experience and wellbeing. She believes that human perception paired with new sensor-based data inputs and machine learning algorithms gives a powerful diagnosis for building design and performance optimization and focuses on developing data-driven approaches for human-centered design to underpin the design and operational decisions through big data analytics.
