Sarah Gudeman

Mechanical Engineer | Director of Sustainability

Sarah Gudeman is a mechanical engineer and project manager with 14-years of experience, specializing in energy-efficiency and sustainability. She is responsible for leading the incorporation of sustainable strategies and energy conservation measures for Morrissey Engineering, a 70-person Omaha-based engineering consulting company. Sarah works with architectural and owner teams to promote the design of high-performance buildings that maintain healthier environments, increase occupant comfort, and lower utility and operating costs for end users. She prioritizes durable, resilient passive design strategies in the earliest stages of design and integrates performance considerations for all building systems into project construction documents using energy modeling throughout the design process. Proven Performance is another area of focus for Sarah through her work in commissioning and WELL Performance Testing.
These skills build on a background of knowledge on commercial building HVAC and plumbing systems; from higher education to office buildings, schools, data centers, medical facilities, entertainment, and nonprofit work.
