I was the co-principal on LEED Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Certification for the EPA Environmental Science Center in Ft Meade, MD. I worked with EPA Science Center staff, HQ and contractors, gathering the needed information about the landscape/site operations, energy systems, waste and materials management, cleaning services and construction projects. The project was awarded at the LEED Certified level in 2016. Since 2001 I was involved with green buildings at EPA and was on loan from the EPA as the first Executive Director of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council (2003-2006). Until my retirement at EPA, I worked as an advocate and advisor on Green and Healthy Schools and presented at Greenbuild and the National Green School Conference many times on Indoor Air Quality and Green Schools.

Prior to my career at EPA I worked in a laboratory/ technical center as a field industrial hygienist for a major chemical company. I am a LEED Green Associate and good collaborator with staff and colleagues.
