Yi Chun Huang

Climate action and sustainability practice

Dr. Yi Chun Huang is General Manager of Environmental Market Solutions Inc (EMSI), a building consultancy based in Shanghai providing green and healthy building consultancy services to help clients achieve livable, valuable, and responsible buildings and communities across Asia Pacific. EMSI has successfully completed over 195 million square feet of LEED and 8 million square feet of WELL projects.

Trained in architecture, building performance and diagnostics, Dr. Huang has more than 20 years of experience in the green and healthy building industry covering consultancy, research, and teaching. He advocates multidisciplinary Integrated Design approaches augmented by computational modeling and field engineering expertise, to realize high quality sustainable and human-centric design solutions.

He has a PhD in Building Performance and Diagnostics, and is also a Certified Energy Manager, LEED AP and on the WELL Advisory Board and Faculty.
