Wenjie Chen

Associate Director

Wenjie is the associate director for New Buildings department of Building System & Diagnostics (BSD) and supervises and manages all of BSD’s new building projects. He also responsible for overseeing all of BSD’s projects in China.

Wenjie is conversant in local building codes & regulations and other regulatory framework dealing with the built environment. He has provided Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) advisory to building developments in both private and public sectors. His advisory with the integrated solutions helped clients to reduce the energy consumptions with optimized building design as well as obtaining environmental assessment certificates by minimizing the environmental impacts.

Wenjie has spearhead ESD team and completed projects in Singapore, Malayisa, China and other Southeast Asia. Wenjie is the key technical expert for WELL Certification, WELL Health-Safety Rating and WELL Performance Verification and Testing, leading the way for advancing health and well-being in buildings.
