Rohini Srivastava
Senior Researcher
Rohini Srivastava is a senior researcher in the Buildings program at the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy. She conducts research on new technologies, practices, and programs to increase energy efficiency in residential and commercial buildings. Specific research areas include innovative energy efficiency program approaches, multiple benefits of efficiency retrofits, and the workforce skills needed to advance high-performance building technologies and zero energy buildings. Prior to joining ACEEE, Rohini was a contributing researcher for the U.S. Department of Energy’s consortium for building energy innovation (CBEI) and the U.S. Department of Energy’s and Government of India’s joint center for building energy research and development (CBERD). She is a registered architect in India and is a LEED Accredited Professional (building design + construction). Rohini received her PhD in building performance and diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University and a master of architecture from Kent State University.
