Laurel Blatchford
Managing Director at Blue Meridian Partners
Laurel provides strategic and executional leadership on critical business priorities and leads innovation efforts which will expand Blue Meridian’s work as it evolves. She explores new philanthropic investment opportunities, leads due diligence on potential Blue Meridian investees and manages relationships with current investees.
Prior to joining Blue Meridian, Laurel was President of Enterprise Community Partners, Inc., where she led programmatic and policy work, including the teams working in Enterprise’s local markets across the United States, and Enterprise’s groundbreaking initiatives focused on addressing housing insecurity and connecting people to opportunity. Before this, Laurel was chief of staff of the Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Obama Administration, served as executive director of the Hurricane Sandy Task Force, and held several leadership roles in the administration of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. She currently serves on the boards of the National Housing Trust and National Housing Conference and on the advisory boards of Well Being Trust and the American Flood Coalition.
Laurel holds an MPP from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a BA in Anthropology/Sociology from Williams College.
