Architect and Sustainability Professional

My name is Kayla and I graduated at Mapua University (Philippines) with Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. I furthered my knowledge and experience in architectural and interior design during my internship at C.T. Onglao Architects Inc. Developing comprehensive training, with various projects that I worked on, I was able to make familiar not only with architectural and construction drawings but also with interior design and materials. I started working at APTCS Group in 2017, where I newly found passion in Sustainability, giving me different perspective and ideals regarding sustainable design and construction. I was able to develop a clearer understanding not only in green buildings but also how it affects our community and environment. I achieved my LEED® Green Associate credential on the following year, June of 2018, after learning and working on several LEED projects in the Philippines. I continue getting involve on different projects, with enthusiasm and desire to make a difference and got my LEED® AP BD+C credential through USGBC LEED AP Specialty Credential Scholarship. September of 2021, through Green Building Certification Inc. (GBCI), I earned my first digital badge and officially become part of the USGBC Pro Reviewer.
