Jeremy Sigmon

Principal

As Principal of Planet Sigmon LLC, Jeremy works closely with businesses, cities, and NGOs to boost resilience, performance, profits, and equitable outcomes. Jeremy recently spent 15 months as CEO of Etopia USA, a subsidiary and exploratory venture of a UK-based, high-performance homebuilder and development technology company.

Jeremy is an accomplished professional in green buildings, resilient cities, and the circular economy. His experience with sustainability certifications, codes, and standards extends beyond the technical and into navigating the communities of professionals that support them and the politics of their development and adoption. Sustainable energy and water systems and organizations with heart are his passion.

Jeremy spent eleven years with the U.S. Green Building Council as one of the organization’s leading staff in policy and public affairs. He previously worked with a renewable energy contractor focused on commercial and residential rooftop solar. Jeremy also volunteers with the Emerald Cities Collaborative, IAPMO, the Environmental Leadership Program, the University of Oxford, and Bristol2Beijing.
