Christopher Kafura

Christopher Kafura has 25 years of engineering and quality experience in the HVAC and automotive industries. He has over a decade of experience in the development and manufacture of HVAC indoor comfort solutions. As the Executive Engineering Director for Carrier Global Systems, his current responsibilities include technology and new product development of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. He is passionate about indoor comfort and environmental quality and the packaging of those technologies into overall sustainable HVAC solutions. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and an MBA from Wayne State University. He is excited for the opportunity to interface with other industry experts and serve on the WELL Homes Advisory Council.
Christopher enjoys hand-on projects in his spare time and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity projects in the Indianapolis, Indiana metro area. He has been married for 24 years, is an avid motorcycle rider and proud owner of two Brittany Spaniel dogs.
