Vivian Nambozo

I am a Public Health specialist but wear my heart on my sleeve-always have. What you see is what you get. When I am passionate about a cause, I see it to the end. This is the scientist in me. For as long as I can remember it has been my passion to impact life. There is no higher calling in life than to use our voices to speak up for those that cannot. Having worked on projects that seek to strengthen health systems in order to provide equitable access for women and refugees, this role resonates with me. I am particularly moved by the Advisory’s mission to identify opportunities to make healthy places available and accessible to all individuals, no matter their identity, location, background or level of ability. Many times, what donors want and what actually works in practice are totally different things- and usually this is no fault of the donor. I look forward to being able to put forward workable solutions for marginalised groups from my part of the world, making healthy safe spaces accessible.
