Susan spent the last 15 years of her 30-year tenure at Herman Miller as the research and knowledge lead for global education. Her work involved building a global network of fellow researchers and knowledge leaders in lifelong learning; engaging in and directing primary research on student and faculty lived experiences related to the built environment and the furniture within the environment; and sharing our knowledge in webinars, workshops, and conferences. Susan holds a BFA in Interior Design from Ringling School of Art and Design; a Masters of Business Administration from Brenau University; and a Masters of Science with Distinction in Accessibility and Inclusive Design from the University of Salford in the UK.
