Co-Founder and Managing Member

Steve Black is a highly effective, business leader and wellness real estate executive with deep experience and expertise implementing science backed, evidence-based, health solutions into private and public projects globally. Throughout his work, Steve has realized and witnessed the impact; healthy, people first spaces have on; individuals, organizations, and communities. Driven by purpose, Steve is relentlessly committed to inspiring and uplifting vulnerable, historically disadvantaged communities and creating economic and social value for all, through the built environment and shared public spaces.

Steve is passionate about creating health environments and promoting awareness about the profound impacts, indoor places, where humans spend 90% of their time, have on human health and the powerful and sustaining influence space has on living a life fulfilled by better outcomes.

Steve is a WELL AP, one of ~200 WELL Faculty globally, and in 2020 served on the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) COVID-19 and other Respiratory Diseases Task Force.

Steve is Cofounder and Managing member of Forefront, LLC a wellness real estate consultancy whose mission is “Healthy Buildings for All” and Cofounder and Managing Member of Global Transformational Communities Solutions (GTCS), a Philadelphia based minority owned and operated wellness real estate company. GTCS Is a qualified opportunity zone business (QOZB) focused on advancing health equity and access by creating healthy indoor and shared community spaces in Black and Brown neighborhoods throughout America. GTCS is led by TPP Capital Holding’s principals Anthony Miles and Clinton Bush and Forefront principal Steve Black.
