Michelle Jacobson

Sustainable Interior Designer

I am a practicing interior designer who specializes in sustainability, health and wellness. I have ben practicing for almost 28 years and I also teach Residential Design 2 at New York School of Interior Design. I volunteer with the National ASID Advocate X Design Committee and specialize in sustainability, ADA and Outreach and Education. I am also a member of ICC (International Code Council) and sit on the 2021 RCIC Code Interpretation Committee. I have also worked with USGBC on the updating of the LEED exam for 2020-2021. I am active member with the NY Metro ASID Chapter and am a founding member of the health, sustainability and wellness committee. I have also participated in a Yale University class on how Climate Change can impact Design.
