Interior Designer
I am a registered interior designer with a passion for material health and design equity. I am a leader in community centered design and my approach is deeply rooted in my passion for designing healthy environments for people to safely occupy. I am passionate about research and finding ways to push the architecture and manufacturing industry towards building materials that benefit the environment and its people. I am a motivated personality who constantly strives to share experiences and learn from others.
I also volunteer in a leadership position for The Portland Materials Transparency Collaborative (PMTC). The PMTC are a network of building industry professionals in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, dedicated to integrating full disclosure of material content as a performance benchmark in the way products are developed, designed and integrated into the built environment. Through this leadership position, I, along with other leaders, arrange educational presentations, building tours, coordinate Sustainable Building Week events and much more in the hopes of engaging as many local designers as possible in conversations around material transparency and material health in the built environment.
