Born in Mexico City near Mexican grandparents house in Cuernavaca, moved to Madrid at the age of 7, began to practice judo and learned with Spanish grandparents house about Cantabric Sea with great waves to surf and forests to explore. Being 19 years old ran first marathon (Madrid) and the second being 20 (Paris, 3h23m). Enjoyed studying architecture and urbanism in Madrid and when 25 moved for 1 year to Czech Republic (ERASMUS) learning about different urban & construction techniques as well as bioconstruction (EcoHabitar magazine). At 30 began my role as construction manager in Dragados Construciones Especiales (DRACE) building public schools during 3 years in Barcelona applying industrialized/modular techniques. In 2008 my daughter Maria was born in Barcelona and in 2013 we moved to Lima where in 2015 my son Francisco was born. In Peru I began to work to solve environmental issues through transfer of technology projects related to water, medical waste management (autoclaves) and architecture. Lead construction of infrastructure at 5,100 meters above sea level to measure glaciers retreat, and discovered Amazonian jungle, WELL, Project Management Institute, smart cities. Began to practice yoga in 2017 and in 2019 moved alone back to Madrid in order to work in new projects for Angola (social housing), La Moraleja (gardens, swimming pools and villas) and at the same time managed my family’s restaurant in Fuente El Saz. Now (February 1, 2021) I am in Lima for 2 days, I will see my son & daughter after one year of pandemic situation. Happy to be working in Peru’s first WELL project for Binswanger together with Enel (sponsor), CBRE and Leaf.
