John Topmiller

Sr. Project Development Manager

As an engineer and operations manager, I have been involved with the building sciences for over twenty years. I have either led or managed the technical teams responsible for over $200M in energy and energy efficiency projects. My projects have mostly consisted of buildings for the Federal Government, States, and Local Governments as well as K-12 School Districts. Our work includes all elements of a building that either use energy or provide comfort to the building occupants including Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems, Building Automation Systems, Lighting and Plumbing Systems.

I am a Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager and LEED Accredited Professional as well as holding a Master of Science in Energy Management and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. In addition, I am currently serving on three Technical Committees for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
