Jesse Klimitz

Director

As Director of Human Space, Jesse focuses his expertise on strengthening architecture with inclusive design practices. As a trained Canadian architect, this interest and expertise has led Jesse to oversee the creation of Human Space, championing its strategic growth, operations and global client experience.

Jesse’s range of relevant project experience includes overseeing large accessibility and inclusion evaluations for large corporations and campuses of over multi-million square feet, municipal guideline development towards human-centered environments, participatory research projects, innovative concept studies, community engagement and inclusive design consultation for major infrastructure, recreation, healthcare and education projects from concept through to completion.

Jesse is actively involved in the architecture, design and real estate community to spread awareness, mentorship, and education to others on the importance of accessibility, wellness and inclusive design within the built environment. Jesse is a member of the ULI Global Health Leaders Network and volunteers as a health design advisor furthering new housing models and environments to help people live and age-in-place at the Institute without Boundaries in Toronto, Canada. Jesse is a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Ontario Association of Architects and is a Fitwel Ambassador.
