AJ Paron

A highly accomplished professional with tremendous knowledge and relationships in the design industry, AJ Paron is widely respected as a creative thinker, innovative leader, and engaging speaker and panelist.

Paron’s experience includes creating and leading a multimillion-dollar award-winning design/build firm, developing national programs for ASID, and developing design research programs for the University of Minnesota. As a design professional, she has specialized in procurement innovation, design implementation and collaboration, environmental initiatives/LEED, workplace change management and has been the pioneer in research in designing for neurodiversity.

An extremely effective sales and marketing leader, Paron most recently served as National Sales Director at Design Public Group, a technology platform that streamlines the furniture procurement process in design. Prior to that, she held the National A&D Director position at Allsteel/Gunlocke.
In her role as Executive Vice President + Design Futurist for the SANDOW Design Group, AJ works collaboratively with B2B partners to provide industry intelligence, develop solutions, foster connections, launch new products, and create brand building opportunities. She has B2B oversite for Interior Design Magazine, Metropolis Magazine and ThinkLab, the industry research arm of SANDOW Design Group.

Paron has been honored with accolades from numerous organizations including IIDA, ASID, NKBA, NARI, USGBC, and Chrysalis Awards. She been published in Harvard Business Review, featured in Forbes and authored several books including the groundbreaking series on Interior Design for Autism by Wiley Publications.
