Yi Chun Huang

Climate action and sustainability practice

Dr. Huang has more than 20 years of experience in the green building industry, with extensive experience in architecture design, BIM, building performance simulation (including energy, lighting, acoustics, and Computational Fluid Dynamics), carbon benchmarking, energy and environmental audits, building commissioning, research and development of sustainable technology, and green and healthy building design consultancy. He implements Integrated Design multidisciplinary approaches augmented by computational modeling and field engineering expertise to achieve high quality sustainable design solutions. He has been involved in more than 100 LEED, WELL, and CGBL projects. Dr. Huang is LEED AP, WELL AP, WELL Faculty, and WELL Standards Advisor, AEE Certified Energy Manager, and served on the USGBC District Energy Task Group, and CTBUH Awards jury. He has led numerous national research projects, more than 30 publications, and numerous featured design works and government invited talks.
