Dr. Sinead Sheridan
Research Associate
Dr. Sinead Sheridan, completed her PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology at The School of Health and Human Performance, Dublin City University, Ireland. She also holds a first class honours BSc degree in Physical Education and Biology from the same university. Upon completion of her PhD, Sinead moved to Hong Kong where she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Department of Sports Science and Physical Education (SSPE) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and subsequently as an Assistant Lecturer at The School of Public Health, The University of Hong Kong. She is currently a Research Associate at SSPE, CUHK.
Sinead’s research focuses mainly on the role of exercise in the prevention and treatment of lifestyle mediated chronic diseases. She has presented at numerous international conferences and has published in many peer-reviewed journals including Frontiers in Physiology. In addition to research, Sinead has extensive experience working with individuals and corporations to get them more physically active and improve their health.
