Simon Turner

Founder

Simon Turner was President of Healthy Buildings until 2019. Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Mr. Turner conducted air pollution research in South Africa and joined Healthy Buildings in 1987 where his role included indoor air quality testing, method development, marketing, and project management. He established Healthy Buildings Western Regional office in 1995 and assumed its presidency in 2006.

Dr. Turner was Chair of the Government Affairs Committee of BOMA Orange County from 2009 through 2014 and has been honored as their Professional member of the Year in 2006, the President’s Award in 2011 and Allied member of the Year in 2013. He is a member of the USGBC Indoor Air Assessment Working Group and the IWBI/GBCI WELL AP committee. He is also a member of the AIHA and ASHRAE.
