Paul Rogers

Paul is an architect and daylight specialist at Byrån för Arkitektur & Urbanism (BAU), architects in Stockholm, Sweden. He specializes in daylight certification and is team leader to a group of five daylight and solar shading specialists. With his experience on more than 400 daylight certification projects, he has a unique understanding on the application of daylight criteria in practice. He has lectured and published articles about daylight both nationally and internationally and is one of two principal authors on a series of reports on the subject of modernization of Sweden’s daylight legislation. He served on Swedish Standard Institute’s national review board for the European daylight standard CEN 17037:2018 and recently helped to create a regional compliance path (pilot ACP) for the Nordic region for the LEED certification system. He currently sits as Sweden Green Building Council’s and Svanen Nordic Label’s designated expert on daylight.
