Pam Sethi
Head of Mental Health Innovation & Chief Innovation Officer
Pam Sethi has 15+ years of combined experience in design innovation, health policy and creativity to bring positive change to the healthcare system. Pam is the Chief Innovation Officer of IAM (the Institute for Advancements in Mental Health) leading their innovation platform in “redesigning society for better mental health”. She has previously worked at Toronto-based health design firm and in several advisory and technical roles at the World Health Organization, Ministry of Health, and UNLeash innovation lab for SDGs. She currently sits on the board of Upstream, a not-for-profit addressing social determinants of health to build a healthier society. Prior, she has served on several community boards related to women’s initiatives in the GTHA, including former partner of the national office Lean In Canada, and completed CivicAction’s Diverse City Fellowship in 2017. She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health and is a candidate for a Master in Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation at OCADU. Pam identifies as a meditator, traveler and enjoys the creative arts.
