Nomaan Asghar is a Senior Airport Planner at AiQ Consulting. AiQ Consulting provides innovative Kerbside to Airspace consulting, modelling and forecasting services to solve complex capacity challenges at worldwide airports.

With over 13 years’ experience in the aviation industry, Nomaan works with owners, operators, stakeholders and investors to assess the entire airport system. This includes passengers, baggage, aircraft, transfer systems and Ground Support Equipment – giving the big picture and detailed analysis. Nomaan develops business opportunities throughout Europe and obtains long-term framework agreements with airports. He scopes, analyses, plans and creates airport process models and solutions.

Nomaan has the deep operational knowledge of airport processes along with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels from operators and airlines to ground handlers and delivery integrators. He is a fantastic project leader, demonstrated in the success of recent projects at Budapest International Airport, Bristol, Stanstead, London Southend and London Heathrow Airports delivering capacity planning assessments within Baggage, Ground Support Equipment, Check-In, Kerbside areas and validating designs for future developments. Nomaan works closely with the AiQ Simulation team using our bespoke modelling and simulation software, TransvisionAiR® to bring data to life in 2D, 3D and Virtual Reality, allowing airports to make smart decision making.

Nomaan has an MSc in Airport Planning and Management from Cranfield University and an Aviation Management BSc from London Metropolitan University. He is now very excited to be part of the WELL advisory team for the Airport sector.
