Nicola De Pisapia
Assistant Professor
Nicola is assistant professor in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of Trento (Italy), where he teaches cognitive ergonomics, psychology and the neural bases of cognition. He is also a teacher of neuroscience for happiness at the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute in Pomaia (Italy). He also founded three neuroscience-based companies (Neocogita, Needius and Neurab). After a Master of Science in philosophy of mind and cognitive science at Carnegie Mellon University (USA), and a PhD in computational neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh (UK), he was a researcher and lecturer at Washington University in St. Louis (USA), and then at the Center for Mind and Brain (CIMeC) of the University of Trento (Italy). His scientific publications focus on the cognitive neuroscience of executive functions, creativity, self-awareness and well being in individuals and organizations.
