Nicholas Sylvestre-Williams

Principal

Nicholas is a partner and owner of Aercoustics Engineering Ltd., an engineering consulting company specializing in acoustics, noise & vibration. He works on architectural projects, predominantly commercial and residential project, and has completed many of Canada’s largest projects. Notable projects include the Master Plan development of acoustic requirements for the 2015 Toronto Pan-Am game, the lead acoustician for the The One – Toronto’s first super-tall high rise residential building, and the lead acoustician for the Oqyana project, one of the world’s largest developments in Dubai. He has appeared before the OMB as an expert witness for land-use development issues. Nicholas is a registered Professional Engineer & Designated Consulting Engineer with the Professional Engineers Ontario, is chair of the ANSI Working Group on Room Acoustics (S12.2) and has presented at many national and international conferences on acoustics and has taught acoustic theory and practice for various organizations.
