Managing Director

Neeta Sharma, Managing Director of IAPMO India, is a Civil Engineer of 1982 batch from Delhi College of Engineering. She started her career by working in a private consultancy firm, Consulting Engineering Services (I) Pvt Ltd. After working for over 5 years in CES, she worked in various capacities at Bureau of Indian Standards in activities such as Standardization, Certification (Product & System), Training, International Relations, and Consumer Affairs.

She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management and is a trained Lead Auditor in various Management System Standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, ISO 50001, IS 18001 and IS 15700. She is a Lead Faculty in all the aforementioned Management System Standards.

At IAPMO she has been a force behind promoting Third Party Inspection for Infrastructure Projects, Net Zero buildings and product certification services within and outside of India, Plumbing Products including Water Efficient appliances; Air treatment and ventilation products to their respective performance standards in conjunction to one or all of IAPMO India’s several product codes, such as the Uniform Illustrated Plumbing Code - India (UIPC-I), Uniform Mechanical Code - India (UMC-I), and/or the Uniform Solar Energy Code - India (USEC-I).

Water Quality Association India (WQA I) engaged IAPMO India as Certification Body for operating its Certification Scheme and offer a Seal of Purity on a product that has been tested and certified per WQA India Microbiological Standard- WQA INDIA protocol: IP 100 for reduction of bacteria, virus and cyst.

Developed documentations for approval as Certification Body for Ready Mix Concrete Plant Certification Scheme of QCI and as Third- Party Inspection Body from QCI as per ISO/IEC 17020.

As a freelance Consultant at present, involved in developing documentations for CBs for seeking Certifications, Accreditations, Water Audits etc.
