Well-Being Manager

Since I was studying my degree in Psychology at U.C.M. (Complutense University of Madrid), I focused my interest in Health Research and Care. When I finished it, I specialized in Eating Disorders by the hand of Ma Luisa de la Puente and developed my doctoral thesis (“Effectiveness analysis of a psychological intervention program in women diagnosed with Bulimia Nervosa” 2002-2008) with a European Social Fund grant awarded. During this period, I developed evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and statistical analysis skills. In parallel, I was collaborating with A.N.A.R. (Helping Child and Adolescents at Risk) orientating children and adults with different problems through a Help Line.

In 2015, I had an opportunity to join a new project: T.A.N.S.N.I.P. (Tras- Atlantic Network to Study Stepwise Noninvasive Imaging as a tool for cardiovascular Prognosis and Prevention). We try to find out the health effects on bank employees due to a prevention lifestyle program, funded by C.N.I.C. (National Centre for Cardiovascular Research) and led by Valentín Fuster in collaboration with the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam. The sample consist of 1000 participants, with more than 1750 motivational interviews conducted by me. We focus on promoting healthy habits in nourishment, fitness, sleep policies, stress management, substance abuse, etc. As a very strong tool to achieve healthy habits, I specialized in meditation and mindfulness technics too (Intelligence Emotional Program, University of Sevilla, 2017).

Since September 2017, I am working as a Well-being manager in IS- WELL Company, promoting the benefits of WELL at the working environments, bringing design, workplace, leadership and habits together for the sake of Wellbeing.
