Certified Professional Ergonomist

Lucy is a Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist with over 30 years’ experience guiding public and private organizations in the application of ergonomics to enhance employee health, well-being and productivity. She actively contributes to the development and maintenance of standards and guidelines including the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Guideline on Office Ergonomics and the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (BIFMA) Ergonomics Guideline. Lucy is the Chair of the CSA Technical Committee on Office Ergonomics, Chair of the BIFMA Ergonomics Subcommittee, a member of the LEED Pilot Credit 44 Ergonomics Work Group and a peer- elected Educationally Influential Ergonomist as recognized by the Institute for Work and Health. She is passionate about enhancing human health and well-being in the built environment.
