Li Huang, Ph.D.

Director of Industry and Finance, Institute for China Sustainable Urbanization

Huang Li, director of Industry and Finance, Institute for China Sustainable Urbanization, Tsinghua University. She got her BE and PhD in building science from Tsinghua University. She also has MBA both from Cornell University and PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University.

Research interests include indoor environment construction technology, green building technology, asset securitization and urbanization investment. Participated in the design and operation of several school enterprise joint research platforms, including Tsinghua- Evergrande Green Building Industry Research Center, Tsinghua-China Resources healthy building joint research platform, Tsinghua-BRE joint research platform, Tsinghua-Delos healthy city research center, etc.

She has rich experience in transnational and interdisciplinary research cooperation. She has participated in a number of national standards establishment for green buildings and healthy buildings. She is one of the main principals of Tsinghua Healthy City Index project.
