Born to a passionate Hotelier and a modest English Teacher, Leon couldn’t avoid the “Hotel bug” and ended up studying Hotel Management in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Leon then went to work for the best Hotel companies in the world including Four Seasons, St. Regis and Mandarin Oriental, in all types of capacities, from line staff to Director and Executive Committee member. Locations included, amongst others, Mexico, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Seychelles and several cities in the United States including The Mandarin Oriental in New York City. During his Hotel days Leon opened 4 Luxury Hotels/Resorts and multiple F&B venues in partnership with several 3* Michelin Chefs. Most recently Leon decided to explore the “Tech World Workplace” and joined Google in 2015 where he oversees F&B office sites / programs, operations, growth and development, contract management and multimillion dollar budgets for the Pacific NorthWest in the US and Latin America.
