Lauren Stone
Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Lauren Stone joined Walgreens in 2006 after completing her degree in psychology from Washington University in Saint Louis. She is now the Senior Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Walgreen Co., a member of Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA). In this role she is responsible for Walgreens CSR strategy and internal governance. Lauren also collaborates with WBA to ensure strategic alignment. This role allows her to work across all divisions of Walgreens to drive positive change.
Previously, Lauren created Walgreens ethical sourcing program, which ensured that human rights were maintained across all contract manufacturers. She also held numerous Quality and Regulatory Safety roles at Walgreens.
Lauren is fascinated by the role that large companies play as global citizens, and how the interaction between government and private industry can drive innovation and progress.
