Kelly Rodgers

Executive Director

Kelly Rodgers is the Executive Director of Streetsmart, a non-profit organization developing an evidence-based transportation platform that helps civic leaders plan and evaluate transportation projects to deliver better outcomes for health, climate, and equity. Her 20 years of city planning experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors enables her to craft creative solutions that work for multiple users. Kelly serves on the Institute for Transportation Engineers (ITE) Health and Transportation Task Force and is developing a health and transportation case study clearinghouse in partnership with them. Kelly is also a PhD student in Urban Studies at Portland State University with interests in how the built environment facilitates or constrains travel and access to opportunity; how well new mobility services improve access to transportation disadvantaged populations; and the nature, quality, and role of evidence in transportation decision-making.
