Jessica Harter

HR Specialist

Jessica joined Interface as a HR Graduate with a strong interest in green HR practices and health and wellbeing. In this role, Jessica found a gap for health and wellbeing at Interface Australia and created a program in 2017 which focused on four pillars of wellbeing. Jessica implemented activities that covered all four pillars each year. In 2018, Jessica focused on implementing new mental health initiatives which was successful in engaging the entire organisation. Jessica’s focus on employee health and wellbeing has been extremely successful in assisting Interface’s WELL Gold Certification in 2019.

Jessica is now a HR Specialist, and as well as health and wellbeing, she also is responsible for local HR for Interface including recruitment and onboarding, industrial relations, policy development and learning & development. As well as her work at Interface, Jessica is in her last weeks of her Masters degree in Human Resource Management in which she is focusing on Green HR practices. In Jessica’s final research project, she focused on how the physical work environment leads to increased employee engagement, focusing on the change management process that took place at Interface’s Surry Hills office in which she was responsible for.
