Dusan Licina has recently been appointed as a tenure-track assistant professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). Dusan has built his career in the field of sustainable and healthy built environment, by focusing on optimizing ventilation strategies and room air distribution, indoor air quality, human exposure assessment, thermal comfort, HVAC system control and energy consumption. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and is an ad hoc reviewer for ten peer-reviewed journals. He is also an active member of the boards of various scientific and professional groups, where he examines the future of building in order to improve people’s benefits and health.
Dusan holds MSc. and BSc. degrees in mechanical engineering (University of
Belgrade). He also completed his joint Doctorate degree at the National University of Singapore and Technical University of Denmark, followed by a postdoctoral
appointment at the University of California Berkeley.
