Facility Manager
I began to be interested in Facility Management in a casual way. Due to my training and experience as Facility Maintenance Technician (7 years performing those functions in different areas), I implicitly also assumed functions as a Facility Manager.
These functions, mainly management and organization, were show interesting for me that specialized in Facilities Management training and acquiring experience.
Promoting and assuming different intermediate positions and focusing on my career to the FM in the last 10 years.
Currently, my work as a Facility Manager gives me the opportunity to manage many areas within this specialty and specifically, those of facilities, services, IT, utilities,…
It has also allowed me to be part of projects, at regional, level in internal developments for example: facilities control systems implementation, facilities audits, facilities commissioning, Initiates operations and maintenance plans, facilities technical manuals and building technical documentation creation, energy efficiency plans, safety plans, space allocation and layout management, design, planning and management the improvements projects, as well as an endless number of small technical projects and their management at a strategic and organizational level.
Currently an International Facility Management Association (IFMA) member and Research Commission member & workgroup coordinator.
Currently a Catalan Facility Management Association (ACFM) member.
