My project is pursuing LEED; how does WELL align? What about other green building standards like NABERS, Green Star, RESET and BREEAM?

WELL works harmoniously with LEED and has expanded to offer alignment with other international leading green building systems like NABERS, Green Star, RESET, and BREEAM.

IWBI welcomes projects to pursue green building rating systems like LEED and others alongside WELL in order to promote both environmental sustainability and human health. A number of overlapping features exist between WELL and LEED, which are described in detail in the WELL v2 Crosswalk resources.

In addition, third-party certification for WELL is provided through the International WELL Building Institute’s (IWBI) collaboration with Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the same organization that administers LEED certification.

New WELL Crosswalks for WELL v2 will be published in the coming months. Stay tuned!
