WELL Building Standard v1 addenda update: May 2016

The May 2016 quarterly WELL Building Standard v1 addenda is now available. To view these changes:

Addenda are changes and improvements to the WELL Building Standard to help clarify, correct, interpret or provide alternative language for requirements. When addenda are released, all associated WELL resources are updated to reflect the technical changes, including the WELL Building Standard and associated resources.

Interpretations
One new WELL interpretation has been published. The approach for existing buildings pursuing Feature 7 (Construction Pollution Management) has been clarified.

Alternative Adherence Paths
Twenty-six new alternative adherence paths have been published this quarter. The alternative adherence paths include new approaches for projects located in East Asia, India, Europe, and Canada. East Asia:

Alternative adherence paths have been published for 16 features.

Corrections
Fifty-three new corrections have been published this quarter for the WELL Building Standard. The corrections include clarifications to requirements language for 30 features. The corrections reflect the increased recognition opportunities available to innovative WELL projects.

Verification Type
One verification type update has been made to Feature 22 (Pest Control), which now requires an Operations schedule for Part 1.
