Meet our WELL Faculty

The WELL Faculty program helps drive and shape the global WELL movement, with WELL Faculty giving workshops, seminars and symposia to advance the people-first places vision. They are a worldwide network of thinkers and doers.

Meet four of these WELL Faculty leaders:


Veronica Shcreibeis Smith, a world-renowned expert on Wellness Architecture, the art and science behind designing built environments that enhance human and planetary well-being, became WELL Faculty in 2020. The CEO and founder of Vera Iconica Architecture joined because she wanted to continue her work solving lifestyle habits through work and leveraging her experience in markets as diverse as Peru, South Korea and Germany.


Jenna Ritz is used to shaping new generations’ understanding of the challenges presented by the future of design. She is a leading expert whose work sits at the intersection of health, well-being and design, Jenna was a perfect fit for WELL Faculty.


A civil engineer, Muhammad Shoaib understands just how important design can be to human flourishing. Since becoming WELL Faculty in 2019, Muhammad has served as an exam review committee member for IWBI, Proposal Reviewer for GreenBuild, and on the IWBI COVID-19 Task Force, building on his experience as a WELL and sustainability consultant and WELL City Advisor.


Lisa MacVicar, the 2021 WELL AP of the Year, has collaborated on a series of papers about the importance of well-being as a corporate culture and strategy. Her work also examines the top human and social capital competencies and their impact on health and performance. Lisa is a major influence on IWBI’s work in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) space.
